As an event planner, you know how much goes into creating a memorable event. You need the right decorations, furnishings, audiovisual equipment, tableware, props, floral items, and myriad other items.
Often, you’ll need to store some items temporarily before or after the event, but there isn’t always space available at the location. A venue may be booked outside your event, an event room may be in use, etc., and you’ll have to make other arrangements to keep items safe yet out of the way. Portable storage is a highly flexible way to store items for your next event without having to resort to more expensive or rigid methods.
Advantages of Portable Storage
A portable storage container is advantageous in that you can use it as long as you need to, and have it hauled away as soon as you’re finished with it. If you’re planning a large event and space is limited, you can use a portable container to temporarily store items you’ll be using to set up an event. You can have the container delivered to your location, at which point it can be used as your own storage unit. Once the event is over and vendors have collected their items, you can have it hauled away.
If you plan to use some items for multiple events, you can have the container moved from one location to another. This is advantageous in situations where it’s more cost effective to rent items for an extra day or two than to make two separate orders to vendors. You’ll have a place to keep those items in the meantime and you can save on costs.
